I'm Angela. I'm 23 years old, living in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I was born and raised in Michigan and moved out here two years ago. I'm a housewife, married to the most wonderful man in the world. I volunteer with a literacy foundation and love tutoring people. I'm incredibly shy but I'm quite friendly when given the chance!

The start of a new journey

We’ve started trying to figure out the immigration stuff, little by little. We’re expecting for me to pick him up at the airport, and head off to Nova Scotia sometime next month. I have some loose ends to tie up here, but it’ll all work out.

I’ve been reading a lot of things at Canada Bound and also at the official CIC Canada site, trying to figure it out as we go.

I’m mostly just worried about getting across the border. After that, it’ll be easier. I just hope that the fact that I intend to immigrate is enough reason for them.

If anyone has any advice, or ideas to make this easier, please let us know.
