My birthday was pretty good, somehow! A lot better than I expected.

I got the best present ever from my Matty. He got me a bouquet of Stargazer Lilies (my favorite flower), and now that they’re starting to bloom, they are so AMAZING! They smell perfect, and they’re the most beautiful flowers I’ve ever seen. I’m so lucky to have a guy as thoughtful as Matt is. I never expected him to even think of doing that, because it was so random. So yeah, thank you Matt! ♥

My mom and Jack took me out to The Tap for my first legal drink. Needless to say, I got a bit tipsy. Or a lot. My first legal drink, sadly, was some surprise that the bartender made up for me, and I don’t know what it was. The owner of the bar bought it for me, though, which was awesome! After that, I had a Cosmo, so at least I know the name of my second legal drink ever. That’s better than nothing, right?

Sigh. 12 days left. I’m excited and nervous, all at once! I just can’t wait to be back in Canada with the man I love. ♥

It’s great you had a nice birthday I’ve never heard of those lilies before, but they sound pretty cool

She needs to take a picture of them after they bloom some more! And yes, she came home and got on webcam after she went out and got drunk… she was pretty plastered. lol
She didn’t get sick though, she held it all in! She’s definitely a silly drunk.

It sounds as if you had a great birthday. That first drink sounds pretty strong, too. Did it taste good?

I’m definitely going to take a picture. The first layer of them have bloomed, but there’s still two or so more to go. So I want to wait a bit longer, let the 2nd layer open up a little more.

They’re GORGEOUS. I couldn’t ever have expected this, and there was nothing better in the whole world. THIS is why I have the single greatest man in the world - I’m so lucky.

And yeah, I was pretty drunk. I remember that much. That, and I was pissed cause I couldn’t eat my ice cream.

And yes, all the drinks tasted good. Except the Cherry Bomb, because it tasted like cough syrup. So yeah.
