Why are people like this? What did this child do wrong? How is it that people can even do what they did to the poor boy?
I can’t even say anything else. It’s just… too horrible.

Those people are demented. I hope they get life sentences. Heaven knows what they may do if they were to have children of their own!
I feel very bad for the mother. She thought she was doing the right thing in handing her kids over to the county. She may not have been a great mother, but she admitted it and tried to give her kids a better life.
No one would ever expect something like this to happen with county approved foster parents. But can you even blame the county? How do you prevent these things? I’m sure the Carrolls didn’t come off to be as demented as they turned out to be.
Nothing short of daily check ups could’ve prevented this. Even if the county required foster parents to check in with them before they could travel, the Carrolls probably still could’ve taken off for two days without anyone’s knowledge.
This is a truly horrific tragedy. But the horror of it hardly compares with the thought of how many other children may be in situations like poor Marcus, and the sad truth that it’s virtually impossible to prevent.

That same thing happened here. Some people are living demons. The Carrols and the Hollands of the world are just that!

That is just so sad. It’s sad how people don’t see life as being one of the most precious things on earth. They don’t understand the beauty in life. They let people and children die. It’s depressing and also pathetic that someone would ever even think to do such a thing.
