I’m up, waiting for when I can leave to go to the grocery store and then pick Matt up, and so I’m back to stumbling around the internet. I came across a site of 301 Useless Facts and thought I’d share a few.

    Yay for today! :D Keep yourself busy and it’ll be time to pick up Matt in a “jiffy.” Hehe.

    By the way, digging the new design, though I have to say I’m partial to the old one. This one seems a little…. rough and odd. xD Unfinished?

    Still 5 hours to go until I get to see him, but that’s better than 30 days! :P

    Hehe, got your email. I’m terrible with email and forgot about it until now. xD I’m assuming you’ve picked Matt up by now which means HURRAY!

    And me? Rocking? No idea what you’re talking about.

    As for the design & pointers, it seems very hashed up… meaning there isn’t a good color scheme going and it’s choppy. There’s about a 5 white pixel bar that juts out in between the menu and the archives list, it looks out of place. The main menu isn’t vertically aligned… so it looks off, the words are closer to the header instead of being centered between the header and content. Try a new fluid color scheme and bring in more elements, if you stay with the hawaiian looking flowers (I don’t know what they are. xD) Bring those into the design more, maybe put another on the bottom of the sidebar, make a little one into a favicon, put little ones in the blog entry headers, etc. I would suggest sticking with white for behind the main menu and making the cutout behind the archives the same pink as the header uses, and then go with a patterned background in different hues of pink. ;)

    Hehe, thanks! I’m still looking at your suggestions and going to work on the other layout to make it work better. I’m posting right now, you came just about 2 minutes too early! =P I wanted to finish fixing the 101 things page before I posted that the layout was done. =D
