Day 28.

It’s done. Matt’s home. I’m in Heaven.

I picked him up from the airport and I had flutterbies. I didn’t think I would, I mean, he’s my husband! I’ve been living with him for a year now, we saw each other every day until he left… But they were still there. Seeing him made me so happy that I thought I was going to cry, but somehow I didn’t, so it worked out.

We stopped at the grocery store to pick up the rest of dinner, checked out the comforter I like at Linens ‘n Things, and then came home. We made a taco salad, came downstairs and laid in bed to watch the race. I fell asleep before it was over, and when I woke up, Matt was upstairs and he had almost finished cooking Dorito chicken. What an awesome surprise! He really is a great husband. I’m so glad to have him here with me again. It’s like when we first met, but a million times better.

What do you think of the theme? I have to work some more on the last one, since I got some awesome suggestions from Kendra on how to make it better. I’m determined to learn more as I go and get better at this. I’m so out of practice!

Anyway, my Sims family is calling me. Off to put the 3rd generation heiress into college!

PS: Somehow I’m still sick. How is this even possible?

Aww, that’s so sweet that you still get butterflies! :D
This is a very cute theme! I like the colors!

  2. Ang Says:

Thanks! I thought the colours were fun!

Yeah, after being together for as long as we have and being married for almost a year now, you’d think the flutterbies would be gone by now. But nope, still there. It was like when we first met, all over again. Only in reverse, because it was him getting off the plane this time. =)

  3. Kendra Says:

You’ll always get flutterbies. ;) It’s called love, hun. -giggles-

    You’re making me anxious for when I get to see my other half. One more month. ^^;

  4. Ang Says:

    Hehe, very true.

Ooh, one more month? Getting excited yet? *squeal*

  5. Kendra Says:

He’s coming home on Memorial Day weekend and I’m driving back with him (hopefully!) -crosses fingers-

With that news has come bad news of he might be deploying in july or august instead of november. -.-
