I had the most baffling and the most wonderful dream last night.
Anyone who knows me well by now knows that I suffer from, quite possibly, the world’s longest and most annoying case of baby fever. This didn’t help.
I dreamt that I had a baby. But this was no ordinary dreaming of having a kid, oh no. I dreamt of the decision to start trying for one. I dreamt of the conception. I dreamt of being pregnant and going through labour and of showing everyone my new baby girl. I dreamt that I had to feed her and that my mother was giving me a hard time and telling me how to take care of her.
I wanted to stay in that dream forever.

That is a somewhat strange dream, but a good one at that.

While these are some of the best dreams, they can also be some of the worst because you never want to wake up, lol. I had a dream very similar to this a few nights ago except I had had a little boy and he was the cutest little boy I had ever seen. I actually almost cried when I woke up because it seemed so real.
Stupid baby fever.

I hate them, so much. I have them so often now that it’s like “oh, no, another baby dream” when I’ve woken back up. And then it’s like… I spend the whole day with that weird “pride” feeling like I’ve given birth for real and hey, look over there, my baby’s… wait… where did it go.
Gah, maybe I’m just insane!
