I don’t know what it is, but I’ve been more determined to make my lifestyle fit in with, well, life. I’ve been trying to eat better (as best as I can, considering at the moment I have no say in what food comes into the house) and work out, even though I don’t leave my room.
Thanks to Chrissy, I’ve found a nice butt workout (haha) that actually makes me feel like I’ve accomplished something.
On top of that, I’ve been trying to do this ab workout and walking in place. Just because I don’t move doesn’t mean that I’m not doing something useful, right?

I do all my exercise indoors, at home, and not at a gym. Gyms suck, in my opinion.
Make sure you are getting some cardio in. That is the best way to REALLY burn calories. I dance around my incredibly tiny room or job in place. If you have a little bit more space, you can do jumping jacks.
Five minutes of activity 4 times a day is really good.
I looooove that butt workout.

Those are some great links. (I’m usually one of those people that downloads workouts though…)
I agree with cardio though - it really burns calories and aids in achieving your results. In 2005 I lost around 40lbs by running on my treadmill 20 minutes a day (10 minutes in the morning and night) and doing moderate weight training.
My one suggestion - get a core ball! Those things give you great abs and you can use it for so many muscles! I lost around 4 inches!

I’ve been doing the same tings you ahve mentioned, trying to east healthier & exercise more. I also don’t really leave the house, so I agree when you say just because you’re not moving doesn’t mean you’re not doing something useful

I hate exercising, always have. As a result of that, the slightest workout makes sweat break out all over and leaves me feeling very tired and wishing I’d never done anything in the first place, haha. So yeah, I should probably work out more. And eat healthier too. I just wish it wasn’t so hard. Good luck to you, though!

OMG I so need a butt workout. Actually, a hip workout would be good.
I’ve been riding a stationary bike weekdays for a few weeks now. I try to do at least 3 miles a day which is a big deal for me. I so do not like exercise. I always feel like such a dork when I exercise. *blushes*
