Funny how that works.
It’s very weird how something so simple could change your whole mood so quickly. I was in a terrible mood about an hour ago. Ranting about my laundry, and how some woman decided to put my nice clean, wet clothes from the washer on top of a dirty, dusty shelf. However, when I went down to get my laundry out of the dryer, my mood changed!
There was a woman down there who was, if I had to guess, in her 80s, who was too short to get her laundry out of the washer. She asked me for help, and of course I helped her! She thanked me profusely, like I had just given her a million dollars. She made conversation with me about how her mother only did laundry once a week for a family of five, and how our problem these days is “we’re just too clean!”
Suddenly I’m not so angry. What is it about the elderly that is so… peaceful? I don’t know, exactly, but I like it!

I agree with you, moods change too quickly… but then that’s part of human emotions I guess. Your anger came because someone was doing something really bad to you, and you were able to exert that energy through positivity and great return. You’ll be rewarded well for that ^_^
Ang: Yes, they do change too quickly, but it’s something we’re almost used to, so it’s weird. But seeing that lady’s face when I helped her… it made me feel like I did something good for the day!

This story made me smile. I’m sorry you were having such a bad day before hand, but very glad that you found a ray of sunshine so unexpectedly.
Ang: I’m glad it made you smile! It made me smile, too!
