I'm Ang.

I'm a 23-year-old married woman who followed her heart (and her husband!) to Nova Scotia, where I'm currently a housewife, planning my future. I'm a huge computer nerd, especially when it comes to video games. I'm a fan of lists and spend a lot of time making them, even if they have no purpose at all. Want to know more?

Is sensitivity really this rare?

I’m starting to notice people being less and less caring of everyone around them. Is this just my little keyhole view of the world, or is it really a trend? Are people that concerned with looking out for themselves and themselves only, or am I just overthinking things?

Here’s a tiny example of what I mean. I log into WoW today. A guy is talking about his horrible day - passed up for a promotion, blown off by his girlfriend when he was looking for sympathy… This girl, who is 17, I believe, responds ever-so-eloquently with “Owned.” Seriously? Owned? This guy says that he’s having the worst day he’s had in a long time, and the first thing you can think of to say is “Owned”?

What is wrong with people?
