And here I was, thinking people forgot.Posted on May 3rd, 2007 @ 1:38 pm
More people remembered my birthday than I expected today, and it makes me a very happy Angela. Seriously, I thought I’d get five people remembering, tops. But it turned out much better than that so far.
- Matt’s mom gave me an awesome bath set - lotions, bubble bath, etc.
- My mom emailed me.
- My little sister, Shelli, the 18-year-old, emailed me.
- Oodles of people on Facebook left me messages - people I thought forgot I even existed!
- Oodles of the lovely lovely people over at Lavish started off the day with telling me Happy Birthday.
I feel loved! Maybe this birthday won’t be as much of a disaster as I was afraid it would be!
Anyway, now I’m sleepy, and Matt’ll not be home for 3-1/2 more hours, so I’m napping now. Thanks to everyone that remembered me - you don’t know how much it means!

I love these lazy days.Posted on May 2nd, 2007 @ 10:20 pm
Yeah, I feel like I got absolutely nothing done today. Yes, the room could use some cleaning. But I slept all day instead. I fell asleep when Matt left for work around 11:30 am and woke up around 6:30 when he got home. And somehow I’m tired again. Craziness, huh?
My 22nd birthday is in 45 minutes. I’m excited! I don’t really know WHY I’m excited, but I am. Still not sure what we’re doing. I’m leaving it up to Matt. If he wants to take me out, I’m all for going out, even if I am sick. If he doesn’t feel like going out, then… I guess I won’t be going out.
American Idol tonight shocked me. I wasn’t a fan of Phil in the middle of the season, but these past few weeks he’s really impressed me. You can see the passion and the improvement in him. Yet he went home before LaKisha. I’m not even sure what to think anymore.
I’m hoping that the finale is Jordin and Blake. I know, I know, Melinda is talented, but she’s not really that marketable. Look at her compared to past winners, honestly. The “divas” are a dime a dozen lately and while I won’t deny her natural talent, she doesn’t bring something unique to the table. Jordin is young and bright and spunky and Blake just does his own thing, and he makes it work! I don’t know anymore, though.

Nothing interesting to see here.Posted on May 2nd, 2007 @ 12:48 am
I slept most of the day again. I can’t seem to get enough sleep, so I’m listening to my body and sleeping when it feels tired. No harm in spoiling my immune system a bit while I’m recovering, right?
I’ve been playing Evil Genius today. I think I’m doing pretty well. It’s an interesting game, that’s for sure.
I’m kinda wanting to play World of Warcraft but I’m not going to justify spending the money on a game card just yet. I’m hoping maybe someone sends me money for my birthday (Tomorrow! You know, since today is technically Wednesday now…) and that way I can justify it.
Anyway, I think I’ll get back to my game. My typing is probably keeping poor Matt awake!

Just another day.Posted on April 30th, 2007 @ 8:06 pm
I slept most of today. I couldn’t get to sleep last night because I was up coughing. Today, I’ve pretty much lost my voice and Matt’s making me stay in bed, which I don’t mind. I need rest, anyway. Being sick again is no fun. He’s making fun of me for the voice, though. I can’t even explain how I sound. I squeak. It’s hilarious, really.
Anyway, I just told him that I’d be up just long enough to post, since I’m keeping up with my 90 days straight of blogging! Today marks day 30. One-third of the way there!
My birthday is in two days, which is all kinds of exciting. Not sure what we’re doing yet, though.
Anyway, back to eating my sub (yum!) and watching House!

Day 22.Posted on April 23rd, 2007 @ 2:57 am
SIX DAYS LEFT!
I’m so looking forward to Matt coming back. It won’t be long now!
My birthday is in 10 days. It reminds me that I’m essentially alone here, but I’m hoping I can get Matt to take me downtown or something. I’m sure he won’t want to go downtown, but I think it’s what I want. I’ll leave it up to him, though, I think. He did a spectacular job with surprising me for my birthday last year, so I’m sure he’ll be great again this year.
So, today was spent sleeping until 5pm (yes, that late, I’m still sick), waking up with another nosebleed and then fighting with our computers. It seems my computer won’t even start now, so I’m glad Matt ordered a new power supply for it and that it will be here sometime this week. His computer seems to have issues with the graphics card or something, because when I go to start the Sims 2, the computer either freezes or restarts. How frustrating.
