Last week, I helped out with CSS. This week, I’m going to do things a tiny bit different. I’m going to share my most visited sites!
- Gmail - Everyone should probably know what this is, but I have to share it anyway. It’s the most fabulous email I’ve ever had, and I can’t bring myself to ever go back to anything.
- Flickr - Awesome photo storage, wonderful options, and the ability to meet other people into photography. What more can you ask for?
- SparkPeople - The reason for any success I’ve had with weight loss. A wonderful set of tools for losing weight, and a fantastic community for helping you do so!
- Not Always Right - Hilarious stories about working in customer service. I go there when I need a healthy dose of stupid (and funny!) in my day.
What sites do you visit the most? What ones do you feel you just can’t live without, and what ones entertain you? Let me know!

Last week, I showed you some links about World of Warcraft and the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. This week, I’m going to share some awesome CSS links with you! Everyone who designs sites knows and loves (okay, well, at least knows) some CSS. Here are a few sites to help you with this web design staple!

Last week, I talked about crafts. I’m glad to know I’m not the only crafty-person my age that enjoyed the links! This week, however, I’m focusing on another hobby of mine. Yes, it’s World of Warcraft. I know not everyone plays it, but this is a big weekend for the game, and so I’m posting about it.
- Is it Thursday yet? - The “blues” (Blizzard posters) have a bit of fun with a silly question before the release of Wrath.
- Alliance Questing Guide - Need some help? Don’t quite know where to go next? Check the guide, but only if you’re Alliance.
- Horde Questing Guide - The same as the above guide, but for our Horde friends!
- General Wrath of the Lich King Survival Guide - Not only was this a handy tool for preparing for Wrath, but it’s got some links to a few very helpful guides. Check it out, even though it’s a bit late to prepare!
- Preparing for Wrath Raiding - Of course, right now the focus is leveling. “Ding” is the word of the hour. But what comes after? If you’re a raider like me, raiding!
- Wrath 101: Upgrading Equipment in Minutes on the AH - Not all players are equal, and not all guilds were clearing Sunwell before the expansion. Need a bit of a boost to your gear? Check out the Auction House for some awesome deals. Gotta love new shiny gear!

Last week, I reminded you all to vote and got into the political spirit. Now that the election is over, I hope you all voiced your opinions! This week, though, we’re getting a bit less serious and a lot more fun.
I know that I, myself, enjoy crafts, and that quite a few of my friends do as well. So this week, I’m sharing a few crafty links I’ve gathered recently!
- Handmade Gift Ideas for Teens - Are you making gifts this Christmas? Stuck on ideas for a teenage relative? Check out this list! I’d tell you which ones were my favourites but I can’t pick. Awesome gifts all around!
- Terry Cats - Another adorable gift idea, this time presumably for a younger child. Though I can’t say I’d mind making one for myself!
- Simple White Paper Flowers - these are gorgeous! If I had more room in my apartment for my own stuff, I’d totally make a bouquet. Gorgeous flowers year-round!
- Shrink Plastic Rings - GORGEOUS rings! Very creative, and you could customize them to match any outfit!
- Zen and the Art of Stash Diving - An awesome, fairly simple crochet pattern for using up those little bits of yarn left after a project!

Last week, we had a girly weekend. This week, I’m going to focus on something that I’m sure you’re all tired of hearing about by now, but that I feel is necessary to mention! This week is about the upcoming election. Don’t worry, I’m not going to post any debate material or opinions because frankly, I don’t think you need to HEAR my opinions. But follow these links!
- Glassbooth - This is a good site where you rate the issues that are most important to you, then it gives you a quiz based on the issues you voted to be important. Based on your answers, it tells you who you “should” vote for. Of course, it’s no substitute for making your own decisions, but it can steer you in the right direction if you’re completely undecided.
- Presidential Quiz 2008 (At Political Base) - This is another test to determine who you “should” vote for. This one flat out asks you questions and then gives you answers, instead of you deciding which issues to decide with.
- Election 2008 on Twitter - Follow what other people are saying about the upcoming election.
- Pre-Election Playlist - A list of songs to play before going to vote to get you excited about voting!
- Election Center 2008 - This has everything to do with the election in one place, from an official source. Between updates to your mobile phone, results (obviously not in yet, but they will be in a few days!), estimates and articles, you can find anything you could possibly need for informing yourself before voting right here at CNN.
- Sign Stealing Logic - Not really serious or political, but just plain funny. Gotta have a sense of humour about these things!
And that ends our Weekend Wrap-Up for this week. Now get out there and vote. I don’t care who you vote for, as long as you’re passionate about your decision. You could make the difference, and this is a very important election. Every vote counts!
