TETRIS ICE CUBE TRAYS! I’m not even joking. How cool would that be?

Matt showed me this just now. This is how the conversation went:
Matt: Oh. My. God. Don’t look at my screen right now, whatever you do.
Me: OH MY GOD. I want those! Can you imagine? They’d be so awesome! I’d put food colouring in them.
Matt: What the fuck? That’s weird.
Me: Can you imagine them in a glass of water? Blue cube, green T… just floating there!

Sometimes my nerdiness amazes me. But you have to admit, that’d be pretty freaking cool!

Remove the top of a spigot, create a small-scale canyon, add backlighting and you’ve got ambient water fittings. That’s what Germany’s Hansa is doing with Hansacanyon, by adding LEDs that change color as a function of water temperature so you can see when it’s hot or cold.
