Last week, I pointed out some design links to you. This week, it’s all about entertainment. But not just any entertainment - it’s the best of Craigslist!
Everyone probably knows Craigslist. It’s handy when you want to find conventional things (job offers, apartments, a new bike). Some people, however, take it to the extreme with some of their postings.
A Note to Renters from Evil Landlord - This one is a bit long, but worth the read if you have a bit of time. It’s all the things landlords probably wish they could say but never do!
Nemesis Required - Bored with their life, this person decided that the way to “spice it up” would be to have someone present a challenge to them. Steal their parking space, trip them… all the while, whispering “Aha, we meet again” in their ear. I can already picture this one - I wonder if this was ever responded to!
To To my neighbor who I saw… - I’ll let you read this one to see the rest of the title. I’m glad I’m not this person, though. What a weird thing to have happen!
Looking for my SOLE-mate - an ad from one shoe to his missing buddy. Apparently they were split up in a (perhaps fatal for the poor shoe!) skydiving accident.
My bra. I’d like it back. No date required. - One of the downfalls of one-night-stands where you don’t know the person’s name? Not knowing where to look if you misplace an article of clothing. Whoops! Bet that was embarrassing.
You wouldn’t get this from any other guy - This guy is looking for commitment and lists all the horrible things that he would never do to the girl he’s looking for!

In my last Weekend Wrap-Up, I talked about spelling and grammar sites. I got a lot of positive feedback, which makes me feel better, as it tells me that I’m not the only one that’s nutty about those things! This week, I’ll be sharing a few comic sites. Whether you need a laugh or just feel like reading something to occupy your time, these are fantastic!
Questionable Content - One of the most well-known online comics, as far as I’m aware, this one offers an actual story line, which I love. Honestly, I sat down over a course of about three days (with sleep and other things in between, obviously) and read them from start to finish. The characters have great stories and personalities, the art is fantastic, and the snarkiness is turned up to a perfect level! My favourite by far.
Cyanide and Happiness - Another fairly popular comic! I love that they use stick figures - it adds a bit of silliness to the whole thing, and room for a lot of jokes based off of their shapes alone. They touch on taboo topics and turn them into a hilarious strip, and I love it!
Ctrl+Alt+Del - Another witty, well-drawn comic. I want to sit down and read this one sometime from start to finish. I remember reading it when it first started and it seems there’s a lot I’ve missed since I stopped!
Everyday People - This one never fails to crack me up. So many of the things that are mentioned are so true! The one on the front page is so fitting, too. I have days myself where if I do one thing to feel “presentable”, I’ll have to do the rest, and why bother? Love it!
The WAREHOUSE - Silly and somewhat random… Who can complain? Charles the Raver is absolutely hilarious, too. A recent strip, “How many ravers does it take to change a light bulb”, had me cracking up for ages!
Do you have any favourite comics that you like to read? Share them with me, I’m dying to find some more!

I have to say, he’s adorable. I know raccoons are horrible and evil and mean, but you can’t tell me that you didn’t say “aww” once while watching that video. I know I sure did.
Matt showed me this just now. This is how the conversation went:
Matt: Oh. My. God. Don’t look at my screen right now, whatever you do.
Me: OH MY GOD. I want those! Can you imagine? They’d be so awesome! I’d put food colouring in them.
Matt: What the fuck? That’s weird.
Me: Can you imagine them in a glass of water? Blue cube, green T… just floating there!
Sometimes my nerdiness amazes me. But you have to admit, that’d be pretty freaking cool!
[01:21] Stacy: Is it sad that a refrigerator commercial that shows them demolishing their old refrigerators says “Do Not Attempt” on the bottom of the screen? [01:21] Stacy: It almost makes me weep for my generation [01:21] Ang: Awww [01:21] Ang: lol [01:21] Ang: I read that wrong [01:21] Ang: hence the “awww” [01:21] Ang: I thought them demolishing refrigerators made you weep
