For those who didn’t catch it, American Idol started tonight. The season is off to a very interesting start!

I’m not feeling very well. Not at all. I don’t know what it is. I feel… sick. Like, sharp pains in my abdomen, stomach growling sick. I feel like it might have been something from dinner (I made spaghetti) but if it were, Matt would be sick, so I don’t know.
American Idol tonight was interesting. I honestly think Jordin is going to win. I’d be pretty shocked if she didn’t. My predictions are Jordin winning, Blake second, Melinda third and LaKisha fourth. I suppose we’ll see.
Anyway, I’m off to watch Nacho Libre. It’s On Demand this week. Er, starting this week. Something like that, yeah. Anyway, it seems like a funny movie!
Yeah, I feel like I got absolutely nothing done today. Yes, the room could use some cleaning. But I slept all day instead. I fell asleep when Matt left for work around 11:30 am and woke up around 6:30 when he got home. And somehow I’m tired again. Craziness, huh?
My 22nd birthday is in 45 minutes. I’m excited! I don’t really know WHY I’m excited, but I am. Still not sure what we’re doing. I’m leaving it up to Matt. If he wants to take me out, I’m all for going out, even if I am sick. If he doesn’t feel like going out, then… I guess I won’t be going out.
American Idol tonight shocked me. I wasn’t a fan of Phil in the middle of the season, but these past few weeks he’s really impressed me. You can see the passion and the improvement in him. Yet he went home before LaKisha. I’m not even sure what to think anymore.
I’m hoping that the finale is Jordin and Blake. I know, I know, Melinda is talented, but she’s not really that marketable. Look at her compared to past winners, honestly. The “divas” are a dime a dozen lately and while I won’t deny her natural talent, she doesn’t bring something unique to the table. Jordin is young and bright and spunky and Blake just does his own thing, and he makes it work! I don’t know anymore, though.
So I’m trying to keep myself awake for a while. What better to help me do that than stumbling around the internet in a yawn-y, half-awake stupor, right? So, share in the interesting-ness with me, will you? These links are in no particular order. I’m too tired to arrange things, come on!
On another note, I’m watching auditions from this season’s American Idol. Why is it that everyone that does horribly and gets told so turns around and says, “Oh, but that’s your opinion, you’re entitled to that” like it will make a difference? Do they feel better thinking they just have a bad opinion? Also, this guy just said he does “a bit of karoke every so often” - not karaoke, kah-roke-ey. Geniuses, I tell you.
