Created out of a mix of sheer boredom and nostalgia, I’ve started a thread over at Midnight called Blast from the past - music. We’re embedding YouTube videos in it of songs we used to like! Come register and join in the fun!
My new theme rocks. It’s a totally different style than the last one, but I love it! What do you think? There’s still some work to be done behind the scenes, but for the most part, it’s set.
Yesterday, as I posted, was an awesome day. I was exhausted, so I didn’t really elaborate on much of anything, but I can now!
Katie and I went swimming, like I said. We went to a different lake than last time, and it was raining and cold out, but we were determined to have some fun and swim anyway. It was nice because there weren’t many people there.
Before we went to the lake, we went to Sobeys so I could pick up a couple things for dinner. I made tacos. I’ve been on a tacos/quesadillas/fajitas/enchiladas kick lately. Basically Mexican food, really. It was delicious, though. A big thing about the trip to Sobeys, though, is that I went out in public with a tank top and a skirt on. No jacket covering up half my body, no baggy pants to hide my stomach. Just a tank top and a skirt. I felt very happy with myself for doing this and not freaking out.
Also, I want to share a song that Matt introduced me to. It’s fantastic! It’s Tiësto with Christian Burns and it’s called In the Dark. Go watch that video. It’ll be stuck in your head for days!
He’s a great husband, but I don’t need to tell anyone that. Aside from this, however, he’s a fantastic driver. I noticed this right away when I first met him. I was impressed with his driving skills, which sounds weird, but it’s not as weird as it seems.
Anyway, his knack for driving isn’t limited to real cars. He drives virtual cars just as well! I like watching him play racing games and driving games, sitting at his computer with a racing wheel and pedals. Okay, so maybe I’m a nerd. Maybe he’s a nerd too, who knows.
He uploaded a few videos of one of his games to YouTube yesterday. I’m glad he finally did it, because I can share them! Go watch them! Now!
Go download Sumotori Dreams. Immediately. Matt and I just couldn’t get enough of it last night. The way they move, and fall, and trip over each other is fantastic. And they laugh at each other for falling! Seriously, you need to play this game. I think you could be the crankiest person in the world at any given moment and cheer up when you see what these guys do.
