It was too cool for words. Matt told me that I had to be ready to leave by 5:00, but he wouldn’t tell me why. He drove me downtown, and took me to the Christmas parade! (Parade of Lights, I think they called it)

I’ve never had such a nice surprise. He knows me well enough that surprising me is easy for him

The parade was beautiful. We didn’t bring the camera (he forgot, and I just didn’t know we’d need it!) but take my word for it - IT ROCKED!

I have gotten rid of everything in my life that made me miserable. People, obligations, things of that sort. And for once in my life, I see things looking up for me. Granted, I still want to move. But it’s not so bad.
