What kind of luck is this?

So I get a call back from the job I wanted (at the clothing store) to go in and fill out a background check form. Within 20 minutes, I end up getting two other phone calls - one to go in for a hiring seminar for an electronics retail store manager, and the other for an account manager position at a company about an hour from here.

The account manager sounded like it rocked. Not the job, so much - I loathe sales. But the idea of saying “Yeah, I’m an account manager at “X” International,” when someone asks me what I do for a living sounds cool. Then again, so does saying “I’m an assistant manager at [insert clothing store name here].”

I dunno, I guess it’d be better to go with the manager job. It is more like what I truly want to do - I hate sales and pressuring people.

What do you think?

True friends are the people that are there for you unconditionally. They are the people that never question you and support you no matter what the circumstances are. They are the people worth living for.
♥ ♥ ♥

I have found that I truly have the greatest friends in the world. They’ve stuck by my side lately, and done more than I could ever ask for from anyone. I don’t think I could live without them.

Matt
Thank you so much for everything you’ve done and continue to do. You are amazing in every sense of the word - smart, sweet, romantic, handsome, and just perfect in every way. You stick by me when I’m sad, or just being a bitch, and you never question our love. You treat me like nobody’s ever treated me before - you understand me in a way that nobody ever has. You are the one thing in the world that keeps me going and happy, and I would be totally lost without you. You are my friend - my best friend. I can honestly say that I see this lasting forever - no question. I can not wait to become your wife - you’ll make the best husband (and someday father) this world has ever seen. You’re my other half, and honestly, my better half. I love you.

It’s so nice to have a friend that’s in the same place as I am (although, honestly, you’re in the place I WANT to be, but close enough). You’ve known me longer than most people have, and you understand me for who I am. It’s nice to have a girl friend to gossip with, bitch to, and just talk to. I’m so glad you came back into my life - you really are the greatest! Thank you for reassuring me that the opinions of people that really matter are not the negative ones that I think they are.

Well, seeing as how you don’t have the internet anymore… :bang You probably won’t read this. But I’m writing it anyway, because one day you’ll get it back and you’ll see a list of people that mean a lot to me, and it wouldn’t be complete without you! You and I have a history of standing by each other - no matter what. We’ve seen the rough times, and the happy times, and we’ve helped each other get through anything that came our way - and for that I’ll be forever grateful. It’s always necessary to have a friend that would tape your eyelids open to watch a scary movie - but only in the daylight because she knows you’re too afraid to watch them at night. You’ve been my best friend for so long now that I don’t know what I would do without you.

Drew
Believe it or not, you’ve made the list! Seriously, though, I think it’s always necessary to get to know and like your other half’s friends - and you’ve made that so easy. You’ve been the guy friend that makes me feel better about things - no matter how petty. It’s nice to have a guy that will reassure you that you are, in fact, insane, but understand that it’s perfectly alright and “normal” for you. It’s nice that we can confide in each other like we can. And besides, I like to give you girl advice. Guys are considerably less catty than girls are, so I don’t worry that one day you’ll snap and call me a fat whore! :-p You’ve been the person to deny those claims (which seem to be getting more and more frequent lately), and you’ve made me feel better, so that rocks. Thank you.

Cheesy or not, these things needed to be said. I honestly don’t think I could make it through a day without all of you. You’ve made me really appreciate that people can still be good people.

So thank you. All of you.
