I killed a spider! You read that right. And while, to most people, this may not seem like the world’s biggest deal, it definitely is. Those of you who know me well, know that I’m terrified of spiders, for lack of a better word. No need to mention that this spider was the size of a pencil eraser, legs included. It’s the fact that I did it that counts, right?
Matt found out yesterday that he’ll be going full time starting either this Sunday or next Monday. This is exciting, but it means I’ll be seeing less of him! On the bright side, though, he’ll be making all kinds of money, and it’s really not like we’ll NEVER see each other. He’ll be working 6 days a week, though. That sucks.

Nice.I’m loving the fact that I’m living the life that I am now. Falling asleep in Matt’s arms, waking up to his breathing, all of the things I was starting to worry I may never see again are making my life complete. We’ve learned to cherish each other just a bit more, and we’re closer than ever. No matter how hard it feels, absence really does make the heart grow fonder.
I’m thinking I’ll get back into doing those things that I love, the cooking and the organizing and things like that. I’m feeling a bit lazy today, but I’ll get over it. I’m still in the “shock” phase, and somehow still tired from my drive. 1400 miles is a long way for a trip alone, but it was so worth it.
I get to watch my soon-to-be baby niece this Sunday, which is so exciting. I’ve got the worst baby fever ever, and she is too cute for words. I’m a bit scared, as she’s only two months old, but I’m sure I’ll be fine. And Matt’s going to help me, too! I can’t wait to see how he is with the baby.

My confessions.I’m gonna cut this a bit, so that it doesn’t take up the whole page. But yeah, I’m bored, but don’t feel like thinking too much. Enjoy!

Back where I belongI’m not really in the mood to type a lot, so expect more later. But the big news of the day is that I’m back in NS with Matt, and happier than I’ve ever been.
Life couldn’t get much better.
