I'm Ang.

I'm a 23-year-old married woman who followed her heart (and her husband!) to Nova Scotia, where I'm currently a housewife, planning my future. I'm a huge computer nerd, especially when it comes to video games. I'm a fan of lists and spend a lot of time making them, even if they have no purpose at all. Want to know more?

Hum de dum.

Hubby’s been working a lot lately, so I’ve had a lot of time to myself. I did a whole bunch of laundry - even washed my favorite blanket! I’ve been hosting again in Second Life, from 8pm - midnight every night except Wednesday. And other than that, I’ve done a ton of playing WoW. I’m addicted, it’s true. I’m doing very well though! I’m already a level 26, which is awesome. And I’m happy, cause I got a new staff last night - even though it irritated one of the girls that was with me. Oh well!

Anyway, in real life news, I’ve been talking a lot to Hubby’s sister. I really like her a lot, we kinda understand each other. She’s been trying desperately to help me plan the wedding, which reminds me that I still need to call my MOH. BUT I’m a procrastinator.

I still really like the dinner idea, though. I want something simple, because if we spend all our money on a fancy wedding, it’d really be a waste. I doubt my family will come, and we’d be spending all our money on that instead of immigration and making our lives better. It’s not the wedding that counts, it’s the marriage that comes after. And ours is looking promising. Hubby’s brother even said that yesterday - he was like, “Jeez, you really are gonna get married - you can call each other names and not get offended!” Hehe. I guess that’s the basis of a strong relationship! :P

Anyway, I’ve got about a billion other things I’m doing right now, so I’d better go. But look! A real update!

Attack of the email.

So I get this email today from my dad.

Where are you and how are you doing? Oh yeah HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!!!!! Just all wrapped up in yourself!!!!!

Never mind the fact that I have emailed him no less than ten times, each time resulting in a response saying my email was bounced back.

Does he really think that talking to me like this would get me to call him or something?

Well, I guess I now see what he really thinks. No wonder I left there years ago.

World of Warcrack.

Yeah, I’ve been neglecting everything lately. Not sure why. I’m completely sure why!

I’ve been playing WoW like it’s going out of style! I’m not quite sure what I like about it so much, but I do. And now I noticed that I tried to type quest instead of quite - is this an illness? Either way, I love it. I’ve got a level 20 human priest and a level 8(?) Night Elf priest, but I play my human a lot more. I’ve started to pick up on the little things. Matt has two characters as well - a level 11 (hooray, shiny brand new 11!) human mage and a level 10 night elf rogue. He’s not so sure he’ll keep it, though, because he’s been working so much lately that he doesn’t really have the time to play. At least that means good money for us! Speaking of which, I really desperately need to remember to mail out my check for my loan on Monday. I don’t know why, but I tend to put that off. Money’s a bit weird right now, because of how our bills are set up to be paid, but we’re doing just fine.

Wedding planning has kinda been put on hold, because we can’t figure out what we want to do. I loved Steph’s idea of just having a small ceremony and then going out to dinner afterward. I really did, and I want that. But of course, when Matt told his mom that we were thinking of that, she got angry. She thinks that if people have to buy their own dinner, they won’t come. Ok, that’s just fine. We’ll send them pictures some other time. It hurts to think that people would just come to our wedding for a free dinner, anyway. /rant

What CAN I do today?

Tried to log in to WoW… Nope, all realms are down for maintenance.
Tried to plug in my Ipod to charge it… Nope, USB device not recognized.
Tried to log into my Gmail account… Nope, Gmail is temporarily unavailable.

Is there anything I can do to pass the time today?

WoW!

Got a 10-day trial for World of Warcraft yesterday. The game took a billion years to load on my computer, but only 6 updates, and I was ready to play. It started off fairly slow, and I died a lot. But that’s because I didn’t bother to read anything about the game before I jumped right in. After a while, I had a few people helping me kill things, and I’ve discovered that it’s not half bad.

After befriending one person who even made me a present (but it’s taking forever for me to get it) and helped me with a few quests, I decided to venture out alone and try a few more. I got to a field where I was supposed to kill some boars for a pie. Eww, I know. I was just getting ready to heal myself after killing one, when I noticed my health going up incredibly rapidly all on its own. I looked over, and some random person had bandaged my wounds, then ran away! Didn’t even ask for a thank you!

I’m warming up to this game, just a little bit. :)
