I just finished watching Season 5 of American Idol and I loved it! Every single episode! I don’t know why it’s went so downhill between last year and this year. I think the guys last season were awesome and this year it’s just a joke. Maybe I’m weird. Who knows.

I’ve been playing Eve like crazy still. Of course. Did you expect anything less from me? Sheesh, if you did, shame on you!

Matt’ll be going away for three weeks for his new job. I’m very sad, I hate being away from him. I know it’s only three weeks but it still sucks. I’m on a backwards sleeping schedule again. I sleep from 7am - 5pm or so. Well, more like 8 or 9am. But still. I kinda like it this way for now. I’m sleeping while Matt’s gone and awake while he’s here. And while he’s asleep. But it works, honest! It also helps me feel more comfortable, since my anti-social nature means that I want to just sleep for days and hide from the world.

I’m thinking I’m coming down with whatever Matt had last week. Not quite as bad yet, but I’m sure it’ll get there. Ugh.

Didn’t sleep last night. My stupid alarm is broken and remembers the LAST alarm you set it for instead of going off at whatever time you set it for, so I wanted to be sure that if the alarm didn’t go off at 7 for Matt to get up, that he got up anyway.

After that, I was (and still am) feeling icky, so I took two Nyquil. Whoo. I’m wrecked. Almost ready to fall asleep but not quite there yet. Just super cloudy, so that’s fun.

Had to post this because, well, I am insane. That is all.

Matt and I took a late-night (1:30 am) trip to the gas station to pick up some munchies. We got back and barely got into the basement when the power went out. We lit a bunch of candles and sat around talking for a while, then we grabbed Lappytop and put on season one of Joey. I had it from ages ago and never actually watched it, so we did. It’s pretty funny, but feels more “sketch-comedy” than Friends did, by far. I can see why it didn’t pick up the popularity of Friends.

Just as the laptop died and we looked at each other and said “What are we going to do now?” the power came on. What timing!
