I'm Ang.

I'm a 23-year-old married woman who followed her heart (and her husband!) to Nova Scotia, where I'm currently a housewife, planning my future. I'm a huge computer nerd, especially when it comes to video games. I'm a fan of lists and spend a lot of time making them, even if they have no purpose at all. Want to know more?

Clumsy.

I keep hurting myself. Either I’m entirely too clumsy for my own good, or the doors in this apartment have something very much against me.

Okay, this is hard to describe, but you know the little metal latch thing that the doorknob goes into? The part that sits on the door frame, I mean. Well, walking into the bathroom the other day, my arm got hooked on that, and now I’ve got a lump and a bruise just below my elbow.

Then, yesterday, Matt and I were goofing around, and he was chasing me around, and I went to duck into the bedroom. The door decided it wanted to get me, so it closed a tiny bit and I made full contact with my wrist on the door handle. It swelled up like there was a golf ball under the skin, and now it’s tender. I don’t see any bruises when I look, but it’s at such a weird angle that I might just not see it. Either way, it hurts.

On top of these, I have the most random bruises on my legs and my OTHER arm, so I know I’ve got a problem.

Woe to each and everyone of you, my pretties!

Oh dear, we simply must find a way home! The old wizard could be our only hope! Strawman, Roar, Tinhead, will you… wait! Oh golly, look! We have visitors!

Tonight was tons of fun. Seriously. We did part of Karazhan. And, thanks to the run, I now look fantastically evil.

We cleared:

To say that Karazhan is amazing would be an understatement. The creativity and attention to detail is breathtaking. It takes a higher-end instance and makes raiding fun. I’m so lucky and grateful that I was able to go!

And, speaking of luck, the reason Kim is looking so witchy now is because of none other than my first piece of Karazhan loot!

Bleh.

I’ve got heartburn. No fun. It seems to be happening a lot lately. It’s probably because I don’t eat real food often and instead settle for fast food and snacks to get me through the day. Oh, the joys of moving.

I started a new Legacy family. Again. My last one was bugged - I put all the stuff from the house into one Sim’s inventory and when I went to get it again, it crashed every time I went past a certain page in the inventory. The Legacy I’m working on is better, anyway.

I just really hope that I can make it through all ten generations this time without it breaking. I need to get through it for my 101 things list. Which I haven’t done anything on, really, in a while.

Matt and I are talking about maybe going to an Indian restaurant one day to finish off the entry on my list to try three new restaurants. Have you ever had Indian food? What was your experience with it? That’s one type of food I haven’t had the chance to try yet.

We’ve been watching falling asleep to the Star Wars movies for a few days. Three days later, and I’ve almost made it through the first one!

Weird timing.

Warning: this post will definitely contain spoilers for Grey’s Anatomy. This post will span the entire show this far, including the season 3 finale, so if you haven’t seen parts and want to be surprised, don’t read any further!

We all know the timing is a bit weird throughout the show. The interns have been in their first year of residency for three years now! But a post on the Grey’s LiveJournal community has me thinking about the timing with Meredith’s half sister, Lexie.

In season 3, episode 1, “The Time Has Come Today“, Callie is talking to Finn about why Meredith is so “weird”. She says, “Four years of high school, four years of college, four years of med school…” which would add up to somewhere between ages 25 and 27 at graduation from medical school. Let’s say, for argument’s sake, Meredith falls right in the middle (and the “norm”) of this, and say that she’s 26.

She states that she did take some time off to go to Europe in season 3, episode 14, “Wishin’ and Hopin’” - but she says she only went for two months. This wouldn’t put her too far off of the medical school track, as far as I know.

In season 2, episode 5, “Bring the Pain“, you hear the Chief say that he and Meredith’s mom, Ellis, had the discussion about leaving their spouses 21 years before. Add to this that Meredith was five years old (according to season 2, episode 18, “Yesterday“) when the affair was going on.

In season 2, episode 22, “The Name of the Game“, we find out about Meredith’s two half sisters, Molly and Lexie. Molly states that she’s twenty-two while talking to Meredith. She says that her older sister, Lexie, is in medical school and that her (their) dad is very proud of her. If Lexie is older than Molly, but still in medical school, that would make her somewhere between 22 and 27. This would mean that Meredith’s father, Thatcher, had an affair and started a family before his relationship with Ellis deteriorated. Plus, the fact that Lexie is an intern the year after Meredith makes this whole storyline impossible.
