What’s a day like?Posted on July 20th, 2007 @ 1:59 am
This is what a day is like for me. It’s nothing too exciting, but that’s alright with me!
I’m preparing for an interactive post with Leesha, so be on the lookout for that!
Anyway, I’m exhausted, so I’m ending my post here and going to watch some Sex and the City (I need to brush up!) and sleep. Goodnight!

I need to post more!Posted on July 19th, 2007 @ 9:01 am
I’m officially going to be more exciting from now on. I promise. Well, sorta. I promise to post, even if I’m not exciting.
Yesterday, Matt and I went out for Mexican food. We went to a little place called Mexico Lindo. We were going to go out for Indian, since it was something I wanted to try, but we decided that without actually knowing what to order, we’d go to somewhere Mexican. It was very good, though a bit odd. The salsa had a lot of heat to it, but the beef in the actual meals tasted suspiciously like a pot roast, shredded. All in all, though, it was worth going!
Going there completed my “Try three new restaurants” item on my 101 things list. This is a good thing! I’m getting things checked off.
About that list, every time I go swimming, I’ve been checking off one of my “Wear a skirt or dress in public” times. It totally counts. I usually stop somewhere on the way to the pond/lake/wherever and the whole time, I am, in fact, wearing a skirt and a tank top! I love my skirt. It’s so comfy and it feels like a towel. So yeah, that counts, in my eyes! Only two more to go!
I think I’m going to do a DITL today. Though I’m not very interesting, so it may not be very exciting. Oh, well!

Pixie-Bob?Posted on July 18th, 2007 @ 1:12 am
I was trying to figure out exactly what kind of cat Mew Mew (yes, we’ve named her that now!) is, and I came across the Pixie-Bob breed. It seems very fitting! She might not be a purebred one (if that’s even possible) but somewhere down the line there had to be one, I think. She’s got a lot of the traits!
- Extra toes
- Medium-length coat
- Spots on her belly
- Facial features
- Tufts of hair in her ears
- Personality
All in all, I think she’s a good match! She’s so fantastic, really. I don’t know what I would do without her!
She’s very social. It’s funny, really. I can walk into the bedroom, and if she’s under the bed, and I call out “Is there a kitty in here?” and make kissy noises, she comes running out and meowing. I’ve never had a cat so excited to see me before!

So hot.Posted on July 13th, 2007 @ 6:42 pm
It’s super hot today, so I’m going swimming. Yay! I did lots of grocery shopping earlier, so I’m tired, but it’s worth it. Plus, dinner will be fantastic tonight!
