I’ll be feeling it tomorrow!

For the first time in over a week (Yes, bad, I know…) I went to the gym today. I did a body jam class and some weights. Not a lot, but enough to get me through. I didn’t count calories today (I should have, but forgot) but I will be starting to track my food again tomorrow. I’m thinking about getting up and doing just a body flow class to get myself going again. Not to mention I’ll be able to see the trainer I’ve visited lately and it’ll make me feel better!

As a reward for going to the gym today I bought myself a small box of raspberry herbal tea. It was a small splurge (only $2!) but it’s delicious! I think I’ll have a glass of that along with two carrot mini muffins for breakfast. Yum!

My workout today was:

  • Body Jam (1 hour of dance/cardio - exhausting but fun!)
  • Lower Back: 4 reps, 100 lbs.
  • Leg Extension: 4 reps, 70 lbs.
  • Leg Curl: 4 reps, 70 lbs.
  • Leg Press/Squat: 4 reps, 90 lbs.
  • Seated Row: 4 reps, 55 lbs.
  • Chest Press: 2 reps, 35 lbs.
  • Shoulder Lateral Raise: 3 reps, 25 lbs.

I skipped the cardio I’d normally do (15 minutes on the treadmill) because I was so exhausted from my class, and I skipped a few weights: bicep, tricep and abs. I’m okay with that, though. For over a week off and being sick, I think I did pretty well!
